It’s the Connection that Counts!

When we first started our creative process of designing jewellery, we thought that we were doing just that – creating jewellery.  We loved it.  My favourite thing to do years ago was to explore local beaches to find ‘gems from the sea’ and to fashion them into wearable art.  In 2009, we designed our Hope Crystals cancer awareness in memory of our sister, Mary, who had lost her battle with this horrible disease.  Sales of the bracelet skyrocketed.  It was during this whole process that we discovered that our jewellery enables people to express the most important connections in their lives.  It was a major revelation.

• A bride attaches a charm containing a picture of her father, who is no longer physically with her, to the heel of her shoe, so that he can accompany her down the aisle.  
• A grad wears a bracelet with crystals that match her special dress.
• A bride wears a ‘something blue’ anklet under her wedding dress.
